Aussie born startup
Bislr today announced they have acquired San Francisco based marketing services agency
Open Marketing.
Bislr was started in Australia by the Sharkey Brothers and re-located to the US last year to launch and scale their global SMB online marketing business. The Sharkey brothers were behind the website Stayz.com which they built, scaled and later sold to Fairfax.
Marcia Kadanoff, Open Marketing’s CEO will be joining Bislr’s leadership team as CMO to build the Bislr brand and will lead business development.
"From the moment we met Marcia we were impressed with the extraordinary marketing agency she had built. Put simply, Marcia “gets it” and is the real deal. Marcia brings a wealth of experience to our team having started her career as a marketing manager at Apple and having acted as an independent consultant, CEO and CMO of many successful companies. It’s an honor and privilege to have her and Open Marketing join our team" says Michael Sharkey cofounder and CEO of Bislr.
"It’s no secret that marketing is changing. Marcia identified these changes early and created a disruptive agency that focused on helping companies grow their business using the principles of content marketing and connected technology"
